Examiner.com — “Is Renovating Worth It? Ask The Expert – Frank Nahoum!”

When we think of spring and summer, we generally talk about rehabbing or renovating. Despite record-low mortgage interest rates and fresh inventories of properties on the market, many decided to renovate their homes — condos, cooperatives and apartments — in many cases to accommodate transitioning family members (new babies, elderly parents, college students and grads).

Because of the shaky economic times, many opted to make renovations so they could postpone putting their home on the market for longer than originally anticipated.

Frank Nahoum is the CEO of Executive Building Development and specializes in these renovations. The company is best known for its gut renovation and completion of the Brooklyn Bowl project, which Frank noted was done as a 100% green project — a multi-million dollar project that took over 18 full-time months to complete, and was even discussed in Rolling Stone Magazine.
